About

Here you’ll find stories that really happened. Real stories from real life. Some of the best stories are the true ones. Truth is stranger, and more wonderful, than fiction, right? So check back often for your dosage of real stories from real life. I plan to post often about the interesting people and places I experience in life. As a side note, I picked this theme for its simplicity and similarity in looks to the page of a book. I like books.

I also recently embarked at the beginning of the year on a new goal to read one book per week. So far, I’ve read two. See this post for a better explanation: http://storiesfromreallife.wordpress.com/2012/01/06/mission-52-books-in-52-weeks. I’m pretty excited about it; I post about the book I read over the weekend, usually on Sunday.

A bit about me: I am a journalist by day and also one by night, as I often work 12-hour (and sometimes 14-hour) days. When I’m not typing senior and library calendars or writing stories recapping village, town and school boards, I enjoy reading nonfiction books (no surprise there, right?) and Blogging of course.
